Armanino Enters Licensing Deal With Microsoft to Add Its Revenue Recognition Management to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Software
SAN RAMON, Calif. (June 12, 2018) – Armanino LLP, one of the top 25 largest accounting and business consulting firms in the U.S., announced today it has reached an agreement with Microsoft to license its Revenue Recognition Management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to the software leader. Armanino’s solution will be built into Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, becoming part of the standard release and giving every user access to streamlined accounting processes for complex revenue recognition management. Users will be able to more easily comply with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards, ending reliance on manually managed spreadsheets.
“We are very excited about this agreement with Microsoft, as it will integrate our proprietary Revenue Recognition Management add-on into future editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations,” said Tom Mescall, partner-in-charge of consulting at Armanino. “As a value-added reseller, our team knows Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations inside and out, and will continue to assist businesses and organizations in purchasing and implementing the solution. We also offer a full suite of Dynamics add-ons, including Life Sciences Industries, High Tech Industries, Warranty Management, Forecast Management and more.”
Muhammad Alam, General Manager of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Microsoft Corp., said, “We are proud to be collaborating with Armanino to bring its Revenue Recognition Management solution to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Armanino has an excellent track record with revenue recognition management and a deep expertise with Dynamics 365, and has built an add-on that lives up to the Microsoft standard.”
Revenue Recognition Management simplifies the order entry process by allowing customer service representatives to enter, confirm, pick, pack, ship and invoice orders per their natural workflows, without requiring them to be revenue experts. The solution supports the utilization of sale pricing, discounts, trade agreements and promotions native to Dynamics 365, as well as importing orders and pricing from CRM.
Armanino will continue to support Microsoft as it transitions Revenue Recognition Management for Dynamics 365 from add-on to an integrated part of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations software.
