Rijksmuseum Partners with Adobe to Create Digital Collection of 3D Models

In 2013, the Rijksmuseum took the unusual step of offering digital downloads of its collection free of charge. In its next move to embrace digitization, the Rijksmuseum has partnered with Adobe Stock and Dimension CC to launch a free collection of 3D digital models, based off of 28 physical objects from the Rijksmuseum collection.
One of the biggest challenges that designers face when using 3D design tools is having access to reliable, high-quality, photorealistic 3D models. By offering these assets for free on Adobe Stock, the partnership allows designers and artists to utilize and seek inspiration from real-world objects that would otherwise be inaccessible.
