Aeris Communications Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar shares his experience and insights on professional journey
CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, President at Aeris Communications.
- Would you like to elaborate on the initial years of your professional journey and what got you interested in technology?
Since childhood, I realized that technology was going to play a big role in my life. From observing the day-to-day use of technology to being introduced to emerging technologies in my early career, technology has given me a capacity for critical decision-making and dynamic thinking.
With my fascination for tech, I began my career about 24 years ago as a relationship manager at Perot Systems, a software development centre in India, Ireland and UK that was accountable for growing revenue by hunting for new customers and mining the existing accounts. Then, from there moved on to Tech Mahindra from managing their outsourcing business and units for IT operations and clients to spearheading the Internet of things (IoT) initiatives for the company and Smart City for the Mahindra Group.
