Samsung Semiconductor India Research launches ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’ Program in 30 districts in partnership with Govt. of Karnataka
1000 students to be upskilled in IOT and AI in 37 Polytechnic colleges
Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) today, announced their partnership with the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education (DCTE), Government of Karnataka as part of its flagship CSR program “Samsung Innovation Campus”. The partnership will enhance technological skills in Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for more than a thousand students and teachers in 37 polytechnic colleges across 30 districts of Karnataka.
This initiative strengthens Samsung’s commitment towards the Government’s Skill India initiative as part of its vision of #PoweringDigitalIndia. The collaboration will provide hands-on training and access to cutting-edge technologies to students in the rural areas.
Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) program, a global citizenship initiative aims to foster innovation in IoT and AI and bridge the proficiency gaps aims to skill our GenZ’s in new-age technologies thereby enhancing their employability.
